The colors belong to different biological pigments chlorophyll a-b (green), xanthophylls (yellow), carotenes (orange) and anthocyanins (violet). These molecules were extracted with ethanol from leaves of different plant functional groups collected from Ciénaga Las Cucharillas in Cataño P R The image was edited via Snapseed and Powerpoint.
